President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a video message to the launch ceremony of the TÜRKSAT 6A satellite and made important statements. Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey has entered a new phase in satellite production.
In his message, President Erdoğan said, “With TÜRKSAT 6A, we have entered a new phase in satellite production. Our domestic and national communication satellite 6A will ensure the backup of existing satellites and further increase the capacity.”
Turkey Among Countries Capable of Producing Communication Satellites
Stating that Turkey will be among the countries capable of producing communication satellites with the launch of TÜRKSAT 6A, Erdoğan said: “With the launch of TÜRKSAT 6A, Turkey will become a country capable of producing communication satellites.”
Critical Technologies for National Security
In his message, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of communication satellites for national security. “The ability to produce critically important technologies such as communication satellites without being dependent on foreign sources is of great importance for our national security,” Erdoğan said.
