ANKARA (IGFA) – A strong reaction came from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the burning of a model of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Sweden.
In Sweden, a model of President Erdoğan was burned in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm under police protection. Turkey’s response to this incident was swift.
“WE EXPECT THE PREVENTION OF THESE OFFENSIVE ACTIONS”
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the scandalous act targeting our President is strongly condemned. It was stated, “We strongly condemn the approval of this despicable act targeting our President. It is the fundamental expectation of the Turkish community that Sweden prevents these offensive actions, which also serve as ongoing propaganda activities for terrorist organizations.”
